Maria is originally from Austria and has been here since the 80's, Cameron is a Christchurch boy and is a pilot. Maria has her hands full tending the garden and welcoming their guests, many of whom have returned year on year to their "home away from home".
During your stay you may wish to enjoy a breakfast basket full of freshly made muesli, bread, butter, jams, fresh local free range eggs, fruit and yoghurt.

Reservations All reservation requests are subject to confirmation with the minimum stay being two nights.

Payments/Cancellations No deposit is required, full payment on arrival or departure. You may cancel free of charge until thirty days before arrival. You will be charged 50% of the total price if you cancel within the thirty days before arrival.
Payment is accepted by EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, cash or internet banking.
Tasman is located at the northern end of the Ruby Coast Scenic Drive. From Richmond follow State Highway 60 towards Motueka, turn off the highway into Tasman. Follow Aporo Drive and when you reach the Tasman General Store turn into Baldwin Rd, we are number 20.
The Tasman Great Taste Trail runs almost past our door - we're ideally situated for those who want to enjoy the Trail and all our lovely region has to offer and return to a comfortable place for the night. Either bring your own bikes or hire them locally from Mapua.

Abel Tasman National Park is just up the road - crystal clear water, hidden bays and sandy beaches - plenty of boating, kayaking and walking in the Park.
Three National Parks are on our doorstep. This is Lake Rotoiti in the Nelson Lakes National Park
We are close to some of New Zealand's finest trout fishing.
Visit NZ Fishing for maps and ask us for advice on guides and where to fish.
The Tasman Great Taste Cycle Trail runs through Tasman Village and on to Kaiteriteri on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park
Wheelie Fantastic will deliver tourers and road bikes here to Tasman Village Cottage and arrange guided or self-guided tours
Enjoy a tour of local vineyards, artisan food producers, artists and potters
on the Moutere Artisans Trail
The whole Nelson/Tasman region is famed for its vineyards. Wine Tours are available through Bay Tours Nelson.
The kitchen in the cottage features ceramics by local potters such as Sue Newitt, Steve Fullmer, Katie Gold and Owen Bartlett.
